User Agreement
In creating an account, you agree to (a) review the pricing (https://www.ianscleaners.com/prices) to be charged for your use of the services; and (b) authorize Ian’s Cleaners and its affiliates to charge your card for any and all fees incurred by your use of service: and (c) orders will not be delivered if orders are not paid. Ian’s Cleaners reserves the right to hold back deliveries until there is payment for services rendered.
1. User Contact Consent
You agree that Ian’s Cleaners may contact you by automated text messages, emails, and customer support phone calls with information about the services and your account. You may opt-out at any time, but this will prohibit you from receiving order updates, pickup/delivery notifications, and any other useful communications by Ian’s Cleaners.
2. Damaged Items
While we are very cautious to treat all garments with care, we cannot always guarantee against color loss, bleeding, inherent weaknesses in the fabric or defects in the material that is not readily apparent prior to processing, or shrinkage of garments. This applies particularly, but not exclusively, to suedes, leather, silks, satins, double-faced fabrics, vinyl, polyurethane, etc. Responsibility is also disclaimed for trimmings, buckles, beads, buttons, and sequins. Any accessories or tags will need to be removed prior to cleaning. This includes new clothing tags composed of plastic, rubber, paper, or other materials. These materials need to be removed prior to drop off at our location as they will be removed by a member of our cleaning team due to the high possibility of ink, coating/paint, or material transfer onto itself or other garments during the cleaning cycle. If damage occurs, we will work with you to provide a thorough explanation as to why it happened, as well as identify if it could have been prevented or not. In the event of a manufacturer’s defect, we will work with you and/or the manufacturer to provide the next steps.
3.1 Damaged Dry Cleaning/Launder Press: For any dry cleaning/launder-press items deemed damaged, Ian’s Cleaners may reimburse you by either:
crediting your account up to ten (10) times the charge for cleaning the item regardless of brand, price or condition of the garment or
refunding your account up to six (6) times the charge for cleaning the item regardless of brand, price or condition of the garment
3.2 Damaged Wash & Fold: For any wash & fold items deemed damaged, Ian’s Cleaners may reimburse you by either:
crediting your account up to three (3) times the charge for cleaning the item (as determined by total flat-rate bag subtotal) regardless of brand, price or condition of the garment(s).
refunding your account up to two (2) times the charge for cleaning the item (as determined by total flat-rate bag subtotal) regardless of brand, price or condition of the garment(s).
4. Lost Items
There is an inherent risk in sending garments for cleaning and there is potential for these garments to get lost. Ian’s Cleaners has implemented measures designed to prevent the situations of lost items from happening, but Ian’s Cleaners cannot guarantee that such situations will never happen.
Any lost item must be reported within 7 days of the delivery of the garments. Claims submitted more than seven (7) days after the delivery will not be considered.
Ian’s Cleaners does not take responsibility for any loose items lost when submitted in an Ian’s Cleaners bag, such as watches, jewelry, Airpods, or cufflinks.
4.1 Lost Dry Cleaning/Launder Press Items: For any dry cleaning/launder-press items deemed lost by Ian’s Cleaners, Ian’s Cleaners may reimburse you by either:
crediting your account up to ten (10) times the charge for cleaning the item regardless of brand, price or condition of the garment or
refunding your account up to six (6) times the charge for cleaning the item regardless of brand, price or condition of the garment
4.2 Lost Wash & Fold: For any wash & fold items deemed lost by Ian’s Cleaners, Ian’s Cleaners may reimburse you by either:
crediting your account up to three (3) times the charge for cleaning the item (as determined by total flat-rate bag subtotal) regardless of brand, price or condition of the garment(s).
refunding your account up to two (2) times the charge for cleaning the item (as determined by total flat-rate bag subtotal) regardless of brand, price or condition of the garment(s).
5. Delivery
Ian’s Cleaners allows customers to leave orders outside residences or with a doorman/concierge. However, once delivery has been made, we will not be held responsible for the loss or damage of any items. All pickups & deliveries are photographed when left outside residences.
6. Pricing & Fees
All pricing is listed at www.ianscleaners.com/prices . As stated, Ian’s Cleaners reserves the right to charge for 1) Minimum Order Fees ($20) 2) Fuel Surcharge Fees in necessary 3) Missed Pickups ($10) in the event that a pickup is missed by the customer, 4) Sanitization ($35) on orders that are collected with excessive bodily fluid or animal fur, and 5) Hazard ($100) on orders containing needles, ammunition, syringes, or broken metals.
6.1 Unpaid Bills: If we retry and are not able to successfully charge the payment method you have on file, we will temporarily block your account from scheduling new orders until your payment information has been updated and your unpaid balance has been settled. We will then send you regular notifications, reminding you to update your payment information. If we cannot receive compensation within 2 months of your clothes being delivered, we reserve the right to transfer the uncollected balance to a collections agency.
7. Storage Ian’s Cleaners guarantees the storage of your garments for 30 days. Although we will make every effort to contact you to retrieve your articles left beyond that time frame, we will be held harmless and be released of liability related to garments left beyond this time.
8. Stain Removal We will make every effort to safely remove stains on garments. Although our best attempts will be made, stain removal is never guaranteed, and payment for services are still owed regardless of successful stain removal or not. If we are unsuccessful of removing a stain, we can attempt another time, but it is understood that there is a higher risk of potentially damaging a garments color, fabric, or weave with repeated attempts. Ian’s Cleaners may or may not seek additional approval on retreating stains, high risk items, or garments that are thought to have sensitive dye or material. Ian’s Cleaners has the right to refuse stain removal if they feel it will likely harm the material.
